Who we are
Healing With Veronica is a wellness, journaling, book, and community app created by author Veronica Million. Questions about this policy may be sent to AuthorVeronicaMillion@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your email address, display name, and authentication records.
- Content you choose to save, including journal responses, healing activities, moods, triggers, prayers, gratitude entries, progress, favorites, and self-care check-ins.
- Community content, including stories, comments, likes, reports, and blocked-user choices.
- Subscription status and purchase validation supplied by Apple, Google, and our subscription service provider. We do not receive your complete payment-card number.
- Basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as app version, device platform, and error information.
Voice journals
Voice-journal recordings remain on your device unless the app clearly asks you to upload or share them. Removing the app or clearing device storage may remove locally stored recordings.
How we use information
- Provide member login, sync your private healing progress, and restore your entries across supported devices.
- Display and moderate community stories and responses.
- Confirm premium access and restore purchases.
- Protect the app from abuse, investigate reports, improve reliability, and respond to support or deletion requests.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
When information is shared
We use service providers only as needed to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication and cloud data, RevenueCat for subscription status, and Apple or Google for app-store billing. Community posts and display names are visible to other community members. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use private journal entries for advertising.
- Never put private medical, financial, or identifying information in a public community post.
Storage, retention, and security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated access and database rules designed to separate each member’s private data. No internet service can promise absolute security. We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal requirements. Deleted information may remain briefly in secure backups before normal deletion cycles complete.
Your choices
- Review or update your profile in the app.
- Export your journal from Account & Privacy.
- Delete healing data without deleting your account.
- Delete your account and associated data in the app.
- Use the public Data Deletion Request page if you cannot access the app.
- Manage notification and device permissions in your device settings.
Children
Healing With Veronica is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app changes. The revised date will appear above. Material changes may also be announced in the app. Email privacy questions to AuthorVeronicaMillion@gmail.com.
